Some useful OpenVPN commands for linux.
service openvpn stop : stops all openvpn processes
open vpn filename : run vpn config file
I prefer the command line interface for both Windows and Linux as it is very direct. The concept is the same, install openvpn which is the compiler and the adapter and then run your configuration file on the box to begin. Easy breezy.
