Access to the SAM file using CHNTPW
sudo apt-get install chntpw
Mount the windows drive.
Access the Windows/System32/config directory.
Issue the command sudo chntpw SAM.
sudo chntpw -l SAM to show users
You should now have a variety of options to manage your windows partition
Windows 10 may have a hibernation file that prevents read-write access. GParted can get around this on mount. Once mounted and verified you can get back into ubuntu and run chntpw.
